Check layer mass is conserved.

Parameters:

• ice_fraction (float) – Layer’s volumetric ice fraction.

• lwc (float) – Layer’s liquid water content.

Raises:

• ValueError – Ice fraction out of bounds.

• ValueError – Liquid water content out of bounds.
