cosipy.modules.radCor.relshad(dem, mask, lats, lons, solh, sdirfn)

Get the topographic shading, based on Mölg et al. (2009).

Parameters:

• dem – DEM of the study region including surrounding terrain.

• mask – Glacier mask.

• lats – Latitudinal coordinates.

• lons – Longitudinal coordinates.

• solh – Solar elevation [°].

• sdirfn – Illumination direction in degrees from north.

Returns:

Illumination mask where 0 = shaded, 1 = in sun.

Return type:
